Hometown Roots - Professional Experience
I grew up in South Kansas City and come from a big, wonderful family—including three brothers, three amazing sisters-in-law, seven nieces and nephews, and eight great-nieces and nephews!
I’m blessed to be married to an incredible man, a retired Captain with the Kansas City Fire Department. Through him, I gained three amazing bonus kids—one is literally a rocket scientist, another followed in his father’s footsteps as a firefighter at the same station, and the youngest is pursuing a career in nursing.
Together, my husband and I share a passion for making a difference. He is deeply committed to supporting First Responders struggling with PTSD, which led us to start raising Australian Cobberdogs—an incredible breed naturally suited for therapy work.
When I’m not helping clients navigate the real estate market, you’ll find me in the garden, in the kitchen baking, or cooking alongside my husband—because home is where the heart is, and I believe in making every home a special one.
From first homes to final moves - guiding you with care and expertise
My original career path was to become a high school English teacher for the deaf, and while life led me in a different direction, my passion for teaching never faded. That’s why I love working with first-time homebuyers—guiding them through the process, educating them on what to look for, and walking them through each step with confidence and clarity.
I also have a deep connection with what I call “4th quarter clients”—those making their final home purchase or sale. Many of them haven’t navigated the real estate market in years, and the digital world of home buying and selling can feel overwhelming. While they bring a wealth of homeowner experience, I provide the knowledge and support to help them confidently transition into this new chapter.
